MEETING OF THE BOARD

MINUTES

28 APRIL 2003

 

 

The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M.

 

In attendance were Charles Bautz, Shannon Frith, and Bonita Martin, all Board Members, and Matt Gataky and Dania Aponte of the Architectural Control Committee.

 

TREASURER’S REPORT

The ending cash balance as of 31 March 2003 was $x.  Ten homeowners had outstanding association dues totaling $x.

 

ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL COMMITTEE REPORT

Matt indicated that Homeowners in violation of ACC guidelines had been delivered notices.

 

Dania has been working on a new ACC Review Form and it will be distributed to all homeowners.  She is also considering compiling an Association newsletter.

 

Matt stated that he would like a formal course of action regarding distribution of violation notices as follows

·         First notice – Written notice on yellow paper

·         Second notice – Fourteen days after First, written on Red paper

·         Third notice – Seven days after Second, a verbal notice from the Board President

·         Fourth notice – Fourteen days after Third, written notice from Association Management Company

 

OLD BUSINESS

 

Fences – Laurence indicated that he has two quotes for the fence refinishing and is awaiting a third.  Charles will follow up with Laurence.  As soon as the bids are received the Board will convene a special meeting to consider them.

 

Garage Sale – Shannon agreed to put up signage.  Charles will place ads in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Marietta Times.

 

Retention Pond Locks – Bonita will follow up with Laurence to see when the locks will be affixed.

 

Website – Shannon has completed the site design and will submit receipts to the Management Company for reimbursement (related to the Software purchase and Web Hosting company fees).  Shannon will distribute the web address to Homeowners with a Garage Sale reminder

 

Outstanding Dues – Bonita agreed to follow up with Laurence to see if outstanding dues listed on the delinquency report relate to the current owners of the property.

 

NEW BUSINESS

 

Dania will coordinate a committee to organize a community block party for June 21.

 

The next Board meeting was schedule for May 19 at 7:30 P.M. at 1573 Silver Ridge Drive.
