April 19, 2004

The meeting was called to order at 7:03 PM.

In attendance were Kim Bishop, Shannon Frith, Dania Aponte, Wayne Clark, Bonita Martin

The minutes of the March 15, 2004 meeting were approved as submitted.

Treasurer’s Report:

· Graystone power, $10 membership fee. $200 deposit. Graystone will contact us to notify of deposit refund, supervisor will contact Shannon.

· Shannon shared a budget summary and forecast for 2004. More payments have been made.

· $260 was collected from mailbox painting and will be sent to Lawrence for deposit.

· Cash on hand at the end of March was $xxx.

· The issue was brought up as to the next step of action for people who have not paid dues and do not have liens on their homes. Small Claims Court was one option, however the fees for an attorney make this option difficult.

· It was suggested that we eliminate the letters from the lawyer to cut cost and send the letters from HOA. Bonita will check into this and will contact Lawrence.

ACC

· Email sent to Laurence asking for form letter on delinquency/violation. A list of non-compliance will be sent to Lawrence so he can get out letters to homeowners. Backyards, lawns etc. Dania will walk the neighborhood to compile the list to send to Lawrence.

· $271.39 was spent on flowers and will be reimbursed to Kim. A motion was made for Kim to submit receipts and be reimbursed for the flowers.

· The retention ponds are overgrown and need to be cleaned out; no monies are in the budget for that.

· The gate on the front pond is broken.

· Kudos to Dania for organizing the Mailbox painting.

· Bonita contacted all real estate agents to tell that yards are overgrown on all for sale homes.

New Business

· Lawrence will be invited to the next meeting to discuss our options on the above matter.

· Suggestion made to send a letter to homeowners explaining the duties and responsibilities of the board, and an explanation of monies.

· Dania will contact Matt and ask to set timer to every other day on sprinkler system.

· The block party has been moved to June 19^th.

· The plan for the block party is as follows. Kim will create flyers to distribute and will create a sign to be posted at the entrance.

· Dania will head-up the food committee- Shannon will price out hamburgers, hotdogs, buns and condiments for approx. 50 people. Homeowners will furnish soda, and side dishes

· Kim will get tables (4).

Next meeting will be May 10^th at Bonita’s at 7:00. Lawrence will be invited.
