MEETING OF THE BOARD

MINUTES

14 JUNE 2004

The meeting was called to order at 7:10 P.M.

In attendance were Bonita Martin, President; Shannon Frith, Treasurer; and Dania Aponte, ACC.

The minutes of the 19 April 2004 meeting were approved as amended. The minutes of the 10 May 2004 meeting were approved as submitted.

TREASURER’S REPORT

Shannon had not yet received the reports from NMA for May and was not able to provide the current financial balances.

Shannon agreed to update and send the 2004 forecast once the May reports are received.

ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL COMMITTEE REPORT

Dania agreed to get an estimate within the next two weeks for the cost to fix the gate on the first retention pond. This estimate will be submitted to the Board so that we can decide on how to proceed.

Dania asked Laurence to send the homeowner installing the permanent basketball goal a covenant violation form and a copy of the covenants. It was pointed out that the covenants do not include the ACC guidelines. Dania agreed to print a copy of the ACC guidelines and provide them to the aforementioned homeowners.

Dania agreed to have Laurence to send out notices to homeowners with ACC violations before next month’s meeting.

The sprinkler has been adjusted to water only every other day.

OLD BUSINESS

Everything is on schedule for the Block Party. Kim has sent out flyers and will get tables. Shannon will buy the food.

The Board needs to verify with Wayne what the standards are for distributing flyers in the neighborhood.

Shannon had Laurence send out a letter outlining the Board’s and Association Members’ roles and responsibilities. (Attached)

Shannon agreed to compose letters to homeowners with outstanding dues once the May report is received.

NEW BUSINESS

Bonita agreed to keep watch on the flower beds at the front entrance to keep them weeded.

The next Board meeting was schedule for Monday, 26 July at 7:00 PM at Dania’s home.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:42 P.M.
